Portland Uke Fest 2009 – General information, please read carefully.

Dates and Times The festival dates are Tuesday, June 16 to Sunday, June 21, 2009 (1-day longer than past Uke Fests). On Tuesday, check-in starts at 1 p.m. The first event–teacher introductions–begins at 4 p.m. Uke Fest ends Sunday morning, June 21, with breakfast and check-out by 11 a.m.

New in 2009 Saturday Micro-Fest. A one-day registration for Saturday, June 20th. This is the only partial festival registration available. There will be many different workshops, open mic, and jamming opportunities. Open mic is limited to those registered for the Uke Fest or the Saturday Micro-Fest.

Music Community Portland Uke Fest is a private music camp community, with the exception of the concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings, which are open to the public.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Advanced registration, with a deposit, is required to reserve a space. Registrations will be processed (and receipts sent) as they are received. The balance will be due upon arrival. Sorry, we are unable to accept credit card payments for the deposit. Check or money orders in U.S. funds only (please do not send cash.)

Registration is limited and you should register early. If the festival is full when your registration is received you will be notified and may choose to be wait-listed or to receive a full refund. If the festival becomes sold out, we will announce it on the web site, and notify those whose registrations are received after the announcement.

How to Register Download the Registration Form (pdf). Print and fill out the form, and mail it in with your deposit to the address on the form. If you are going to stay on campus, print and fill out the Room and Board Form (pdf) and include it with your registration.
