Housing and meals are provided on the campus of Reed College and offer Uke Fest participants convenience, comfort and a beautiful setting in which to make music. Rooms are in a dormitory setting with single rooms as well as doubles that are semi-private. Shared bathrooms, designated male and female, are on each floor. The dorms are near the gathering places for Uke Fest events, and every effort will be made to accommodate your housing needs. Note: due to on-campus construction, Uke Fest residents will be housed in different dorms than in prior years. Dorms include single rooms and semi-private doubles (two separate rooms that share one entrance door). If we can not assign you to a requested single, and you do not have a roommate, we will match you (to the best of our ability) with a participant of the same gender who is compatible based on responses to questions on the resident form. Room includes: 4 nights. Each room comes with linens, light weight blanket and pillow, towels, soap, cup, a bed, desk, dresser, closet, ceiling lamp. We recommend guests bring a reading light, clock, and additional blanket (if desired). Meals will be served on campus by Bon Apetit food service and include: 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 4 dinners. Resident Fees If you are staying on campus, the meals are included as a package from the college and cannot be purchased separately. The total cost per person for a room and all meals during Uke Fest is $250. (See information below for guests and children). Guests If you have a guest who wishes to stay on campus with you but not attend the event, accommodations will be made if possible. Housing with the meal plan must be purchased for anyone staying on campus. A single child under the age of 14, may stay in the same room as their parent(s) on a roll-away bed for a charge of $160 (includes meals). Please note: Only registered students are allowed in the classes or workshops. Please fill out the Resident form and include it with your Registration form if you are going to stay on campus. For questions or more information on housing and meals, write to: Patty Cassidy, housing@portlandukefest.org, or call 503.239.9174.
